Girls Night out w/ a Girlie

So...last Tuesday us gals went out and once a month (starting last month) Ryenn has joined us ladies. So here are pics taken by my gorgeous friend Heather, who wasn't feelin' that night to include herself, of Tamara and I and Ryenn. Some of the me and ryenn pics are w/ the "hipsomatic" (?) effect on the i-phone. We enjoyed cheese and chocolate fondue.

4th of July weekend part one

So...for the 4th of July weekend, my family managed to all be together for the first time in 9 years. Let's start with my kids cause, honestly, they're my favorite.

This is only one roll of film. That's right. FILM. And while I soo long for a fabulous digital camera (and I mean fabulous...thus the lack of one now cause fabulous costs hundreds of dollars) I do find that cropping film shots are great! No pixel issues whatsoever. :)

More to come! It was a whirlwind of a trip and it was awesome to see my siblings and visit with all of us together! The cousins all got along so awesomely! Truly a momentous occassion.

Hey. It took til age 36 but i finally have girl BFs!

Here are my two best friends...Heather on the left and Tamara in the middle. I would have been LOST these last 10 months without them! They listen to my same dribble and concerns over and over and are always a phone call or email away. Heather even steps in with my kids quite a bit...having made izsak so comfortable he'll just call her. We get together every Tuesday all three of us and then i tend to see one or the other a couple more times during the week. They make me laugh, they are ok if i cry (and i just don't cry in front of anyone...that alone should say how special they are!) and just plain awesome for me! God has blessed me well!

God's pretty cool

I know. Its been FOREVER and this is picture-less...but I do have good news to report. There as been interest in my book by miltary bases...we'll see how that goes...

I was so efficient at work that the less efficient gal was dismissed and now I have both jobs! Just started my promoted position today and man am I exhausted, however, I wasn't the least bit bored because I was becoming so, not a good sign after only two months on the job. I do feel a bit bad that my anally organizational skills and efficiency (please let it be known this only applies to my work environment...my home environment organization has deteriorated due to my working)caused someone to be canned, but regardless, I was pleased because the extra in my pay will pay for my kids and the counseling they have started.

And THAT is why God is pretty cool. Because everything happens when it should with God.

Dorris Ranch

We went to Dorris Ranch, a filbert (hazelnut) orchard and forest beside the McKenzie River. We had a blast exploring and running thru the orchards, throwing rocks in the river. A bit chilly, but lovely. Here are pics to enjoy (the extra kid is one of izsak's best friends, gabe).
